What I can say (very little) sounds good. But it's double edged, because when you can say three words really well they don't believe you can't say the rest! Once I stayed with a French priest in Korea. He was a friend of a friend from Peru so I knew he spoke Spanish but I wanted to be respectful and pronounce his name correctly. I was working with a guy who was a Québécois so before I left for Korea I asked him to teach me how to pronounce the priest's name, Roncin Michel.
